Love Island (UK)

not a show, a lifestyle. the us version, classically, has missed the point by making the show TOO entertaining. i am not interested in spicy challenges, or dramatic games, or celebrity visits. i watch love island for the same reason i watch fish swim around in a tank; because it relaxes me to see beautiful imprisoned creatures live out a sisyphean nightmare. it's not summer until i'm parked in the air conditioning watching stonefaced while 15 bikini-clad children move between the same 5 sets and have the same conversation 500 time and stare off into space and sometimes kiss. love island uk for life
